Yes Man, Jim Carrey tells the truth

Truth is if we treated animals better and were all vegans, not only would we live longer and solve the Health Care Crisis, but we would never have to worry about: Strokes, Heart Disease, Osteoporosis, Kidney Stones, Colon Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Endometrial Cancer, Breast Cancer, Hypoglycemia, Diabetes, Kidney Disease, Peptic Ulcers, Constipation, Hemorrhoids, Hiatal Hernias, Diverticulosis, Obesity, Gallstones, Hypertension, Asthma, Salmonellosis, Trichinosis, Irritable Colon Syndrome, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (the human variant of Mad Cow Disease), Smallpox, Smithfield's Swine Flu Virus (Influenza), Tuberculosis, Malaria, Aids, Bubonic Plague, Measles, Cholera, Global Warming, Factory Farming's Cruelty and Pollution, Starvation/World Hunger, School Shootings, and War.

And Jim, winning an MTV award is cool and the next time I see you, I have an award for you too. It’s one of my, “YES” stickers.

Regarding the movie, “Yes Man” – I recommend seeing it. And as for the word, “Yes” - it is powerful: http://www.dist3.org/ms/art/changefromwithin.htm

  2. Aaron wisely questioned, Hey, I just want a heads up on the Aids, Malaria and Measles components before I cross post?”

Question everything (good luck on getting real answers – lol) - even me

Normally I am not anyone’s bitch and I tell others to prove me wrong, or to do your own research. I only want to spark people's interest into looking into things (that is good teaching) but as we are friends, here you go -

AIDS is from humans fucking with monkeys --- don’t believe people would fuck with animals? There’s all kinds of bestiality out there … corpse-munchers are pure evil. Here’s a story of an orangutan a whole village used as a whore: http://www.thefword.org.uk/blog/2007/11/if_turning_an_o

Avian Malaria also has its roots in apes – chimpanzees specifically; however has since mutated and spread through factory farming chickens and turkeys

Absurd wikipedia gives a brief mention in the opening paragraph (remember corpse-munchers hide this very well just as you don’t hear much about Smithfield’s shops of horrors in La Gloria Mexico – just the H1N1 virus - even in the Information Age) as a side note in their opener – what does that tell you?

“but these are of less importance except, in occasional cases, for the poultry industry.”

Factory farming keeps this shit alive and mosquitoes spread it in places of cheap land/poor people’s hoods like mega farms love to terrorize lesser beings in impoverished lands.
Like many other diseases, measles started as an animal disease, probably related to distemper (a dog disease). Because people lived with dogs, at some point it evolved to attack people as well. This would have happened around the time that people began living in cities, because the measles virus needs a big population to keep it going. (Otherwise it dies out). So maybe around 2000 BC, in West Asia. At first measles was a serious disease that killed many grown people.
The earliest mention of measles may be the plague of Athens of 430 BC described by Thucydides, although some people think that was more likely to be typhoid fever. There were outbreaks of measles in the Roman Empire, too, the first one maybe in 165 AD. There was a serious outbreak of what seems to be measles that began in Carthage (in North Africa) in 251 AD, which is described by the Roman doctor Galen. The earliest scientific description of it (which also tells how to tell measles from smallpox) was written by the Persian doctor Ibn Razi (or Rhazes) about 900 AD. But Ibn Razi thought that measles and smallpox were two different parts of the same sickness.

  3. Poor Pony the Orangatan.

That's gotta be one of the saddest things I've read in a while.

    Human beings are truly disgraceful.

  4. I don't know about recommending Yes Man - I watched and thought it was pretty funny until the scene at the chicken slaughter plant. I was disappointed that it was treated as a laughing matter... Totally insensitive and inappropriate. But... that's me.
