I think we should all save his comments and write letters to Penn State to let them know what hate mongers they employ and the ideas the University blindly promotes.
This is the underlying hate that is suppressed yet permeates their world into ours. If we let this go on unchecked, we deserve their death threats, animal abuse, and all out hate and total disregard of life.
This was mailed (and documented) on 17 June 2009:
Graham Spanier and Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees,DAVID BIENUS: "My point is that the animal rights groups don't scare me either. That's your aim after all. That's the whole point of ALF, to scare researchers into quiting. Ultimately it won't work. Terrorism never ultimately works because sooner or later the terrorists are either exterminated or marginalized. In my opinion the animal rights groups have over played their hands and are becoming marginalilzed. Fewer people are joining their ranks and more people are seeing the lunacy behind thier claims. I don't live in California, I'm in PA. You have my name and I'll tell you there are damned few people with the same name so I'm not hard to find. If you don't like what I do for a living, come stop me" David Bienus, Research Support Specialist, Penn State University
Your Penn State employee, David Bienus, Research Support Specialist is actively promoting hate and death threats across state lines via the internet. Please document this, rectify the situation, and inform me of your actions to ensure your level of complicity is no longer an issue.
DAVID BIENUS: "I volunteer to use Camille [Marino] for the next experiment! ... I will continue to do my job. If you don't like bring your ass over here and do something about it. But be forewarned, people that I work with take very seriously loonies trying to deprive them of their livelihood and there are a lot of woods around here to hide bodies." Re: David Anthony Bienus, Research Support Specialist Penn State University
Dear Sir/Madam:
This communication will put you on notice that you are employing a dangerously-unstable individual. Mr. Bienus, referenced above, is highly emotional and unable to control his seething hostility. He defends his abhorrent position as simply a "livilihood" and erupts unprovoked. He despises animal rights activists and personally invited me to come to Penn State so that he could bury me in the woods:
"I volunteer to use Camille for the next experiment! ... I will continue to do my job. If you don't like bring your ass over here and do something about it. But be forewarned, people that I work with take very seriously loonies trying to deprive them of their livelihood and there are a lot of woods around here to hide bodies."
I would hope that Penn State understands the liability of employing a violent individual, especially now that you are on notice.
I would like to add one observation. Mr. Bienus epitomizes the nature of a true terrorist and bully. Although he has no misgivings about the mutilation and torture of animals in the name of research, he evades the ethical issues in their entirety. Rather, he -- along with the rest of UCLA Pro-Test (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=145728920467#/topic.php?uid=145728920467&topic=8284) -- simply refer to conscienscious animal rights activists as terrorists.
Clearly, Mr. Bienus has demonstrated for the world exactly what how the psyche of an actual terrorist operates.
Mr. Bienus should not be allowed anywhere near helpless animals or innocent students.
I look forward to hearing of a resolution to this matter.
Sincerely,
Camille A. Marino

Graham Spanier and Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees...
Hey... that's a great letter - says it all. Too bad it will probably fall on deaf ears. They are all cut of the same "institutional" cloth.
ReplyDeleteDavid Bienus, internet tough guy and real life animal abuser.
ReplyDeleteWhat a genius. He's calling animal activists ''terrorists'' and then makes death threats. DO NOT let him get away with it.
