Betrayal of one's own cause

“All ancient philosophy was oriented toward the simplicity of life and taught a certain kind of modesty in one’s need. In light of this, the few philosophic vegetarians have done more for mankind than all new philosophers, and as long as philosophers do not take courage to seek out a totally changed way of life and to demonstrate it by their example, they are worth nothing.” Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900), German philosopher

Lets bring back Nietzsche, gather a few more friends, find Al Gore's barbeque hideaway, TP his house and take away his "no tell please prize" Unless Gore didn’t read the United Nation’s LongShadow Report regarding Factory Farming. In which case, I would have to forgive him for he knows not what he does not want to face.

GIVE ME A BREAK!

”There is no moral precept that does not have something inconvenient about it” Denis Diderot

Al Gore, Warwak has put you on notice. Who is your master?

  1. Al Gore has been aced in environmental responsibility by Audubon magazine:

"Some folks, I realize, have a deep-down, gut-level (so to speak) reaction to vegetarianism as “unnatural.” We humans have canine teeth, after all. We evolved to include meat in our diets. To abandon such food is to break thousands of years of tradition and, in some cases, ritual behavior bordering on the sacred.

All true. But we also evolved as people who defecated indiscriminately in the woods and who didn’t brush our teeth. Somehow we’ve moved to a higher level on those counts. Now, with potentially catastrophic climate change hovering around the corner and with our briskets and London broil helping to drive the process, it’s time to evolve some more."

I like that noted to Mr. Gore: "time to evolve some more".
